On the unusual side of the architecture, the rooms are distributed in different buildings in a district reconstituted in typical housing. The comfort of the bedding, the soundproofing, the decoration typical of old Dubai in every detail. Our room with a view on the Creek was very pleasant !!!
The stress caused by the incompetence of the receptionist when we arrived!!!. We arrived on the 21/02 around 06h45, at the reception, a particularly incompetent person, who took 20 minutes before finding our room (room which had to be at our disposal one day before our arrival in order to be able to rest after our night flight) moreover she wanted to charge on my VISA card a second time the amount of our stay (more than 1200 €) I had to show her on my account that the amount of the stay had already been retained. In spite of this, she was sceptical and took pictures of the screen of my mobile phone with the details of my account. As a result, the planned rest was very shortened. No pleasant welcome (for us) i.e. no welcome cup of tea or coffee as expected . And we were not the only ones in the case !!!. What a stress after our night flight !!!

This hotel's very close to tourist places like coffee museum. In the morning there was buffet breakfast. Within a walking distance of Khalid Bin al Waleed subway station...

The place that takes you back in time, it's magical. Small carts come to pick you up if you don't want to walk. Well placed to enjoy the authentic DUBAI, the es souk, gold market and walking. 15 mn from the airport and downtown Dubai.
Can be a bit noisy at night if room overlooks the creek.
